A New Baby In Town

We had so much fun visiting with Uncle Mark, Aunt Jessica and cousin Ari this past week!  Uncle Mark has been staying here for a month, so you've seen lots of him.

I think that you were most interested in the new baby in town though, 3-month-old cousin Ari.  He's three months younger than you, but weighs the same!  You two hit it off right away, although Ari wasn't always ready for your loud pterodactyl noises.  He had plenty to say of his own though.  :o)

He loved watching you.  I think he was trying to learn how to move around like you were.  He'll be caught up before you know it!

We can't wait to see them again in the Adirondacks this summer!

And The Little One Said...

Roll over!  Roll over!  You've finally mastered the roll from back to front!  Mommy's in trouble now because I'm watching your little mind trying to figure out how to crawl.  It may take a while yet, but you're already scooting around enough to get a hold of your nearby toys.

Here's you in action!

Found 'Em!

Eleanore, you actually found your toes a while ago, but I finally got a couple of good shots of your new gymnastics act.  :o)

Fresh Mountain Air

Our first trip out to Salt Lake City, Utah was a success!  You loved getting to see your aunts and uncles again, and of course Grandma and Grandpa!  They were excited to see you too...they didn't even notice Mommy.  :o)
You were extremely interested in the skiers coming down the hill.  I think you were ready to try it yourself!  Well...you've got to learn to walk first.  One step at a time Sweet Girl.  You definitely had the skier-look going for you though, thanks to some great hats from Nonna and Great-Aunt Annette.

Girls' Night Out

It was your first time flying in an airplane, and you were amazing!  You weren't too sure about your ears popping at first, but your pacifier helped a ton, and you soon just went with the flow.  We landed in Denver at 8:50pm, which was really 9:50 our time...way past your bed time.  You were wide awake though!

Of course, our next flight was delayed by an hour, so we had to wait.  Luckily, an incredibly nice Southwest Airlines worker ran down to get your stroller off the cart before it drove away so Mommy could walk around with you in it. (I felt like I was in a Liberty Mutual commercial.)  Thank goodness too, because you finally drifted off to sleep in there.  Not until 10:00 though (which was 11:00 our time)!  Staying up so late, I'd say that was officially our first "girls' night out!"

Five Months Old!

3-4-12

Today you are five-months-old Eleanore.  You are growing so fast!  You're already into your 6 month clothing (and looking very adorable I might add).  I know I always overdo it with pictures, but can you blame me?  You're just so photogenic!
